Professor Ferreira is pleased to be hosting the 2009 Martial Arts Summit. Premiere martial artists from around the world will be teaching at this seminar. Every martial artist, whether new or experienced, will have a wonderful time making friends and learning from other martial artists.
Professor Feliciano (Kimo) Ferreira started his studies in the early 1970s in
the art of Kempo-Jutsu , Aikijutsu (lst Dan), Escrima, Espada-y-Daga, Doce
Manos, and Karazempo. He received his 5th Dan in Kempo from Walter
Godin, one of William Chow’s top students. He is one of the most
respected martial artists in the United States today. The classes he
teaches are innovative and stimulating.

Location
The 2009 Martial Arts Summit will take place at scenic Kilauea Military Camp (KMC), located within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. KMC is approximately 45 minutes by car from Hilo Airport, which is the suggested airport to fly into.
There is a shuttle service available to and from the Hilo Airport. The shuttle is $8 per person, one way for all passengers. Schedule as noted below:
DEPART FROM KMC LOBBY:
8:30 a.m. • 12:00 p.m. • 2:30 p.m. • 4:45 p.m.
PICK-UP AT HILO AIRPORT:
11:00 a.m. • 1:30 p.m. • 3:45 p.m. • 6:30 p.m.
Shuttle Service will be dispatched only with an advance request of at least 48 hours. Allow 1 hour travel time each way.
Accomodations
The accommodations at KMC are ideal for
a country village located at the 4,000-foot
elevation. The units are more like suites
than hotel rooms, and you’ll find the
perfect fit for your needs.

KMC rates are exempt from the 11% Hawaii state excise and hotel room taxes.
